Top 10 Single Season Passing Performances

Raiders quarterbacks have turned in some spectacular single-season passing performances. Take a look back at the Top 10.

Former Raiders QB Rich Gannon appears on this Top 10 list four times.

In the most recent performance to make this list, former Raiders QB Carson Palmer turned in the second-best single-season passing performance in team history in 2012. Take a look at the Top 10.

Rich Gannon led the NFL's #1 offense in 2002. Gannon completed 418 of 618 pass attempts for 4,689 yards, 26 TDs and only 10 INTs as he led the Raiders to a 3rd straight AFC West title and a Super Bowl berth.
2. In 2012, Carson Palmer became only the second player in Raiders history to throw for more than 4,000 yards. He completed 345 of 565 pass attempts for 4,018 yards, 22 TDs and 14 INTs.
3. In 1997, Jeff George completed 290 of 521 pass attempts for 3,917 yards, 29 TDs and only 9 INTs.
4. In 1999, his second year as the Raiders starter, Rich Gannon completed 304 of 515 pass attempts for 3,840 yards, 24 TDs and 14 INTs.
5. In 2001, Rich Gannon completed 361 of 549 pass attempts for 3,828 yards, 27 TDs, and just 9 INTS, while leading the Raiders to a 2nd straight AFC West title.
6. Rich Gannon's successor, Kerry Collins, threw for 3,759 yards while completing 302 of 565 pass attempts in 2005. He tossed 20 TD passes and only 12 INTs.
7. In 1979, his last year as the Raiders starting QB, Kenny Stabler completed 304 of 498 pass attempts for 3,615 yards, 26 TDs and 22 INTs.
8. In 2004, Kerry Collins completed 289 of 513 pass attempts for 3,495 yards, 21 TDs and 20 INTs.
9. In 2000, Rich Gannon completed 284 of 474 pass attempts for 3,430 yards, 28 TDs and just 11 INTs. Gannon led the Raiders to an AFC West title and an AFC Championship game appearance.
10. In 1993, Jeff Hostetler completed 263 of 455 pass attempts for 3,334 yards, 20 TDs and 16 INTs, while leading the Raiders to the playoffs.
