The Raiders have signed six of the team’s 10 selections from the 2013 NFL Draft, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Thursday.

The Raiders have signed six of the team’s 10 selections from the 2013 NFL Draft, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Thursday.

The Raiders signed sixth-round draft picks Nick Kasa (172nd overall), Latavius Murray (181st), Mychal Rivera (184th), Stacy McGee (205th), and seventh-round choices Brice Butler (209th) and David Bass (233rd). 

Kasa (6-6, 269), a tight end out of Colorado, played defensive end for his first three seasons before switching to tight end for his final 13 games. As a senior, he led the team with an average of 15.6 yards per reception and finished fourth on the team with 25 catches for 391 yards.

Murray (6-2, 223), selected out of Central Florida, received an All-Conference-USA first-team selection as a running back and was the first player in school history to have a rushing touchdown in nine straight games. Murray finished his career ranked second in UCF history in overall touchdowns (44), eighth in attempts (453) and sixth in yards (2,424).

Rivera (6-3, 242), a tight end out of Tennessee, started 10 games as a senior and earned All-SEC second-team honors in addition to coaches’ All-SEC first-team honors in 2012. He ranked third on the team in catches (36) and set the Tennessee tight-end record with 562 receiving yards as a senior.

McGee (6-3, 310) played four years at Oklahoma seeing action in 35 games with 15 starts during his collegiate career. He played in six games on the defensive line in 2012 and recorded 14 total tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss.

Butler (6-3, 213) transferred to San Diego State after three years at USC, appearing in 13 games in his sole season with the Aztecs. He ranked second on the team in receptions, totaling 24 catches for 347 yards. His four touchdown receptions also ranked second on the team.

Bass (6-4, 256), a defensive end out of Missouri Western State, started all 14 games as a senior, and was one of eight finalists for the Gene Upshaw Award, presented to the top lineman in NCAA Division II football. He totaled 61 tackles (36 solo), 11.5 sacks and seven passes defensed in his final collegiate season.
