Five things you should know about veteran DE Justin Tuck...

1. During his high school career at Central Coosa County in Alabama, he totaled 492 tackles, with 37 sacks, 26 forced fumbles, 17 fumble recoveries. He also won two state championships in basketball.

2. Tuck holds multiple defensive records at Notre Dame, including career sacks (24.5), tackles for loss (43), and sacks in a season (13.5).

3. Justin earned his degree from Notre Dame in 2005, graduating with a degree in management from the Mendoza College of Business.

4. The veteran founded Tuck’s R.U.S.H. For Literacy in 2008 with his wife Lauran. The organization aims to encourage low-income youth to read and understand financial literacy, and has awarded $320,000 in grants since 2008.

5. Tuck also partnered with teammate Michael Strahan and Nike to design an exclusive pair of sneakers with the proceeds going to help the Nike “Let Me Play” campaign, a campaign aimed at implementing PE programs for low-income and migrant youth in China.
